Lovely Langkawi our first stop in Malaysia

We had a great time on the island of Langkawi. We spent four nights there, one in the town of Kuah and three at a jungle spa retreat. We hired a car while we were there to explore the island. We visited all the beautiful beaches. Explored the mangrove, climbed trails to find waterfalls and went up the famous Langkawi Sky Cab, the steepest cable car in the world, to take in the views of the jungle covered island. Louise had a tai chi lesson and spent one afternoon in the spa enjoying a full body Malay massage, foot treatment and a coconut facial while Steve lay the hammock watching eagles soar through the sky, monkeys jump through the trees and flying lemur glide through the jungle. There were also many tropical birds to see.
